So, I was at Buzzy's on Saturday and he is throwing around the idea of another vintage race like the one we had about three years ago.

He will go down the basement and find some old vintage kits to sell and run in the race.

Cars will have to be bought at Buzz-A-Rama and built. After you buy a car... it gets you into the race.

A date and the car in question is still not finalized yet.

Right now were just trying to generate some interest. The last race we had was a instant success. I think we had 10 racers and all racers finished the race.

Hoping to have more info soon.

Sounds like fun. Please work around the other local race weekends for a date. :)

Nicky,

I've got at least six guys that would do this.

I'm the one who arranged the last one you speak about. My first conversation with Buzz about a race like this we spoke about possibly a Revell Slimline F1 type of a car; he said he had a bunch of the kits. I bought one and put it together and we thought it might not be the best kit for a race so we did the Monogram kit instead.

After that race I do think the Slimline F1 would work fine since Buzz ran the race on low voltage.

Give me the word and I'll round up the guys like I did last time.

I'm in for starters.

I'm one of Joe's six but count me in.

The last one was a blast. Only issue was every racer had the same paint job. Let's use clear bodies if possible.

I'm still waiting for Buzz to come up with a kit.............He's searching the basement for that perfect vintage model to bring up out of the DOLDRUMS.

It should be interesting to see what he digs up.

When he's down in the basement see if he has any of my old chassis lying around.

I'm pretty sure I asked him last time and he said no.

Will this be a "By Invite Only" race? Or first come first served? I would love to do this and visit Buzz again.
