Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Boy, track names sure are getting misleading.

Just illustrates how fragmented the commercial wood track world has been for so long, and how little information has been disseminated over the years, Bill.

At least that's how I view it.

Nice-looking track with a narrow footprint. I like it.

Looks like it might have been cut up/modified. That's a King 90, donut, lead-on, and most of the bank and finger.

It is a nice looking track as Brian says. Why is the place closing? I assumed the eBay naming was someone's attempt to have a track attact more eBay attention. Maybe it is a restructured King as Mike said, modified to fit a limited floor space.

If one wants to be technical, every routered wood track is "custom" except for maybe CNC-routed ones.

Chris Dadds said on OWH that it was built this way. He called it a "donoval," an oval with a donut.

I think it's pretty cool.

Sort of a King feel.

Still four turns you have to drive, and probably only needing two (hustling) marshals.

I think that would make a perfect third track for Chicagoland Raceway! :)

Wonder what the footprint is?

Way too wide unless I shortened the finger on the King.

Regardless, even if it was narrower, then the birthday party kids would have to eat their pizza in the Pizza Hut waiting area, or on top of the Fiedler flat track.

A more likely scenario, but still a long shot, would be if one of my new neighbors failed, and I converted their unit to a mostly birthday location.

I have about 12 parties booked so far, this month, but I would probably need 12 in the summer months, and 24, in January-April.

I would also need Jackie's employer to make her retire. LOL.

I see Chris chimes in here once in a while.

Wondering when this track was built. Does not seem to have been routed with his homemade CNC machine Looking at the bridge on the donut.

Calling it a donoval sounds more likely than a big King in my opinion.

This was in a fellow's high-end garage along with a dragstrip. I was looking at the dragstrip.
