The OCC Series invades MMW on Feb. 4, 2017. This will be our first race on his King since the 4hr enduro last year. We're expecting a good turnout as many of the 69 total entries from the HMS race mentioned going to Canton to test their skills. The rules for the 3 classes being run can be found in the Slotblog's Rule tab.
In order to shorten our race day, after the completion of the GT1 races, we will have a 1 hour break/practice combination for the Group 10 and GTP cars. At the end of the 1 hour, tech will begin for both classes. There will be no practice between the Grp10 races and the GTP races.

Talked to Mark Kitto, and he will be open on Friday evening until around 10:00pm for practice. The practice fee that day is $10.00.
On Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, the doors will open at 8:00am. The practice fee is $5.00 and the lunch fee is also $5.00. If you choose not to participate in the lunch, notify the OCC Board members when the entry fees are being collected. Mark will have the food warming a little earlier than we’re used to in the OCC so the racers can eat whenever they have a few extra minutes. The menu is to be decided but Mark usually offers a good variety of eats.
For those of you unfamiliar with running in an OCC event, the entry fees are $7.00/class, you can enter up to 3 classes if you choose. Each body should be on our approved body list. Coupes must have an interior with a molded driver. All cars will need to have a sponsor displayed and at least 3 - 1/2” numbers. Front wheels are mandatory on all cars. The body can have the wheel areas left clear when painted or wheel stickers can be used. You should not be able to see the chassis, wheels or guide flag when viewing the car from above.
For all classes, the min. tire diameter is .750".
1. GT1s have a max. diameter of .800
2. Grp10 & GTP do not have max. diameters
3. All classes - rear width- max. 3-1/4". Your car cannot be picked up by the tech tool
4. All classes - rear clearance (must be min. - .055" at any in-race tech)
5. We follow a max spoiler height of 1 5/8” (1.625”) on a flat block with tires.
We’re expecting another large turnout so if something goes off of schedule, be a little patient and we will work to resolved whatever issues may occur.
