I was at PTC today for the Sunday GTP race and was ask about body thickness for this Saturdays SERRA Retro races.

We are going to use IRRA® rules so DO NOT BRING A THIN BODY to tech. The cars will come to tech with the body off and all bodies will be checked for thickness on the sides and upper surface.

I will not check on top of a sticker or painted on number.

If the sides are thin you can add tape to the side of the car. The tape must cover from wheel well to wheel well and all the way up the side of the car.

If the upper part of the car is thin THE BODY WILL NOT PASS TECHThe front on the body cannot be taped to add thickness.

We all know what we are talking about here so do the right thing and come prepared so we can have an enjoyable race without a controversy. I will appreciate your help.

Sounds great, Eddie. That's the way it should be!  :clapping:

Looks like we have a new "Tech Nazi" in the making. :victory:

I just hope we keep enough Retro activity in the SE to justify a Tech Nazi.

Actually there seems to be activity at several tracks. Looking good.  :)

Clyde,

For series that have their own subforums, race results are typically posted there instead of here in the Race Announcements forum. That way they're all in a single place for future reference.

The SERRA subforum is HERE.

The SERRA Race #1 results are HERE. It's just a basic race report, but it'll have to do...

Gregory Wells

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
