The opening race of the 2017 Parma Checkpoint Cup was Retro Anglewinder Coupe on Buena Park Raceway's Flat track.

Out of towner Rick Dodge qualifies...
Coupe qualifying results. Duran sets a blistering TQ time of 4.18 with a lot of really good slot racers following close behind!

A Main results Duran steadily pulled away to a comfortable win but everyone else was in a dogfight! Great race with Herman just nipping Jason by feet at the end!

Some pretty fast Coupe's in our races last Sat, even in the C main. Everyone was getting around rather fast. This class is so fun to race. They just work so well on BPR's flat track. The B and A main's were just that much better. Fantastic racing.
