Will,

Like it or not, the vast majority of racers who run Retro under IRRA® rules follow all the rules, because they understand the benefits having a stable set of rules brings to the table. And one important part of the IRRA® rules set is the appearance of the cars and racers have indicated that this also is important to them as well.

It certainly isn't very fair to permit anyone to slide on the appearance rules when the other racers follow them.

Will, about five minutes with a few colored Sharpies will do the job. It's no biggie. You would have been just as fast with a few colors on your interior.

Nobody is accusing you of cheating. I had to do lots of work on my body, too.

So come race with us at CMS!

The tech inspector's job is indeed a thankless one.

When he doesn't enforce the rules, he hears from the those who complied.

When he does enforce them, the ones who didn't comply complain.

Cheers.

Eddie did a fantastic job and I for one wants him to keep doing it. Again, this is no huge deal. Super easy fix and it had no outcome on the finish of the race.

It's only the first race of what we are all hoping will be a successful series. Lets not start ruffling feathers over nothing.

Will, you are a great southern Retro racer and you belong here!

Do I think Will was cheating? NO.

I think will is one of the best racers I know. I missed something in tech I should have caught and it shows in the photos. I called myself on it.

What more can I say.

I'll be at the next one, Will. I'll bring the Sharpies!

I'll also bring stuff to put your fire out. LOL.

Exactly, Eddie. It's a small thing for our first race. We just fix it and move on to CMS.

Again, I appreciate your work as the SERRA tech inspector.

Hey Will,

You've been bounced before. Wink, wink. You fixed it and raced.

Avoid the hassle and just come to tech with everything right.

Shoot, he should of been given additional laps for running a silver body on a gray track... LOL.

But then again us old turn marshals can't see it either...

So with a better color he'd won by a lot more laps...

Next month you need to run a black body... to level the competion LOL...

A good time was had by all. The comaradrie was exceptional and a lot of fun was had by all.

As expected, Chris ran a tight ship.

Looking forward to the next race.

It was a great race and everyone had a good time. Chris ran one of the best races I've attended in a long time, and Eddie did an fantastic job at tech. The race and tech was run by the book, as it should be.

So glad to see SERRA back and can't wait till the next stop at CMS next month. Thanks to Taylor Davis for making this all happen.

Congrats to Will for his clean sweep! He drove great all day and had very well prepared cars.

Hope to see everyone and even more in Marietta, GA, next month.

Bobby,

Great racing in F1 and thanks for the tips. It felt like Spa in a couple of heats!

Will miss the next race. I will be in St. Barts starting on 22 Feb through 7 March.

Clyde,

I can't believe it. You'd rather go to the Caribbean, lay on a beach, and eat seafood instead of racing Retro with SERRA?

Some slot racer you are, dude...
