Hi all:

Need advice.

I'm in the process of installing a new Carrera 1/24 Plastic Analog Slot Car racing track at my business.

What are the best commercial products for cleaning and maintaining it?

PS: I want to avoid any products with chemicals that may damage the plastic over time.

Thanks in advance for your input.

I have a large Carrera track.  It has seen years of use, but is generally disassembled and stored during the summer.  The only thing I ever use to clean it is rubbing alcohol on a cotton cloth.  I do dust it almost daily.  The metal on the rails is apparently very high quality.  I've never had a single spot of rust.

You can use any kind of spray cleaner, they all work fine. Window cleaner is a little milder and certainly won't hurt anything. Not much that can be hurt, although some cleaners might take the paint off. The rails are stainless and nothing will hurt them.

I've used window cleaner a lot but now, I keep alcohol in a spray bottle and it is what I use.
