I'm not sure what the armature in this Pro Slot 16D motor is. The tag says DS16.

I have had one of those arms forever. It was in a Parma set-up. I always wondered what it was for exactly.

Probably an arm made for a particular series.

I'm surprised no one knows.

Maybe a job for OWH or Facebook. LOL.

I have one. It measures and meters as a 16D.

Maybe Drag Racing Specialties?

I believe it was a "D Spec" 16D arm. DS16... Not sure what series it was used in...

If I remember correctly, its an old Pro Slot arm. I have only ever owned one, but it was a rocketship in a good, shimmed magnet set-up. Capable of taking on any of the .560" diameter arms that were so popular when I raced it.

I Used to use them in group 10 with wedge bodies back in the late 90s. Were great arms back then. I've got a couple but they are unbalanced. May send them out for balance and give them a try against today's 16d arms.

I believe that set up is a 16D and uses a Chinese arm. Not a bad motor for $13.

The setup posted is in fact Chinese but the arm installed is American.
