I'm pretty sure that's a Mura-made motor.

Not sure if Dynamic specified a one hole can to be a little different.

It is built like a tank, very strong magnets.

That motor should be in my box.  :laugh2: A real prize.

Taken from the Electric Dreams website: "Pro-Racing motor. In 1969, Dynamic had a professional racing team composed of Jack Garcia and Bruce Erickson. This Mura motor was briefly marketed by Dynamic in four different winds and is very hard to find today, let alone a boxed example."

Well, maybe I should not put this back in service.

$20.00 back then was a heavy price to pay.

It's a Mura 16D ("A") motor. No doubt the Dynamic tag and single hole make it more rare though.

That can wasn't a Dynamic exclusive. For a period of time it was Mura's standard A-can (16D).

Then they started selling it with two holes per side. The REHCo NCC Grp. 20 kit I bought in 1970 ar Modelville Hobby had one of those one-hole cans for motor building. A trade I made with Manta Ray got me the body I need to someday get that car back on the track..

From the '69 Auto World catalog, including Bryan Warmack's name misspelled.

I had thoughts of running one of these in the Dynamic proxy a few years ago to score bonus points for all Dynamic parts, but time beat me again. :-(

One hole Mura's are not that rare.
I pick them up from time to time.
Have one in the box now waiting for restoration.
What is rare is the Dynamic sticker.....

I would find a generic 2-hole motor if you want to actually race it. Those are going for about 20 bucks on ebay lately.
Two closed today even.
