I believe that it's in Ellenton, Florida. Just a few miles off of I-75, exit #224.

OK, Tony, here you go.

If they aren't easy to drive then your set-up is wrong.

Racing them on the edge, that's the challenge.

Brian,

I would like to race some of the slower cars like you enjoy but in the words of Sammy Hagar "I can't drive fifty-five."

Besides when ya have big tracks what else do ya run? Although we are doing some Hawk 7 racing with wing bodies and it's fun, kind of like Group 12 racing in slow motion.

I'll race anything with a guide shoe. But if we're quoting song lyrics I'm going with the The Good Rat's Tasty.

Different strokes for different folks.

If we are all the same it would be boring.

Danny,

I agree 100%. I have every type of slot car imaginable. I will race anything. Womps, plastic, wing, flexi, Retro, vintage or drag. I have my favorites but I won't put down another man's toy car.

The bank on this king looks almost flat. Was the track built that way? I can't see how that can be adjusted out from the pic.

I have no idea how much it's supposed be banked, but the track is not connected.

I wish Florida would have a premier race.  I'd even consider running a Zona wing car if I had to.

Well start one, Charlie.

With the tracks and drivers in Florida you have something to choose from and start with. Hey, the R4 and the Sano had to start somewhere.

Make it happen.

One thing for sure, with the classes like F1 and GTP racing 7 hawks its cheap, which means Dads can get theyre sons and daughters a race car or two and they can play out there for a good while ,not having to worry about cool downs every 2 mins. I have built a F1 hawk 7 and in the process of building one for my daughter. BUT every now and then its fun to break out the group 12,s and swap a little paint.

I promise you if I built a wing no one there could race with me. Heck, I was keeping up with you all when I raced my flexi chassis Hawk 7 and a GTP body against your wing cars.
