There is a new Flexi-based national racing series that just had their first race in TN: the Flexi National Racing Series.
Here is the organization's 2017 rulebook. This is a new link and takes you to the updated rules as of 7/17/17.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Wow. What a shockingly reasonable and simple set of rules. I must admit, my view is someone or some group did a nice job with this. My only complaint (have to complain about something!) is the "driver" being in the car stuff. I may be a bit odd (ok, certainly odd) but my view is these are slot cars. I don't even mask the "windows" when painting because the drivers are standing next to the track with controllers in their hands. These are two dimensional drones to use today's parlance.
Anyway, I quibble. Well-done rule set!

As the Slick 7 axle bushings are NOT "oilites", are they permitted to be used?
"The Slick 7 is not, and never has been, advertised as an oilite." - Swiss on OWH
P.S. I like your rules

Not wanting to be pedantic, but don't you think that the rules should be changed/reworded to cover that point?

The 1991 USRA Nats at American Hobbies in Ocoee had a Eurosport and Flexi class. Also the first AMSRA Nats in 2003 or 2004 was near Tampa. DZ or Biscuit would know about that one I'm sure...

That AMSRA race in Tampa was on the same Hillclimb that is now at Fast Eddie's in Pinellas Park.
Some people used to making the A Main found themselves marshaling instead of racing.
