One legitimate question and two additional insensitive/unnecessary questions/comments.

Not every King track is a Gerding.

They used to make them where you still had to drive.

Just sayin'.

Mike : FYI .....

I used to race on both of Buena Park's Kings, Eddie Wong's King in Vallejo, Harley Ratto's pinched King in Stockton, and Frank Sarkla's King in Rhonert Park on a monthly basis

To the best of my knowledge, none of them are Gerding speedways.....

I'm well aware of how to actually move my trigger finger on my DiFalco as necessaryon many different types of tracks

BPR has lap times of 3.0' (check their race results), and they're turning right around the same at Frank's place. SO...why are these guys running mid-4 lap times....?

BTW= what are Grp F cars turning on your track?

Blair - I just looked at the King you guys have and it doesn't look all that flat...

I was thinking those were lap times for the 220' ALTEC track...

Nice looking shop

Zero chance Frank's has guys turning 3.0's.

You must live on Fantasy Island if you think it could be remotely possible to run similar times on a flatter 90's Ogilvie as a banked Gerding built in 2006 or 2007.

Why does it matter to you what times they turn in Pa.?

The racer with the most laps win.

.

You are not even close.

As a matter of fact, you're off by over a full second.

From the last Group F results I could find on FB, from Frank's.

Fast time at Frank's....4.16.....slower than the times you are making fun of.

And Blair's total for both sets is 219, 8 more laps than Frank's.

But who cares?

I certainly don't care how fast the race laps are at Frank's... or in Pa.

The track is the track and there is no correlation to how fast the track is, and how much fun the racers are having.

PS - On my track, 268 laps for 2 minute heats, and something like 3.32, give or take a hundreth.

Again, who cares?

Everyone races under the same conditions and the racer with the most laps win.

and while we're on the subject, why aren't bearings allowed on F cars?

The cars started out as $100 wing cars originally so it was a cost factor. When USRA made it group f the cost factor was I am sure was considered. It replaced spec 12/15 which also used bushings.

I know, Bill. I was racing at BPR years ago when they started running the class. Falcon motors that we'd ran in retro - plenty of guys had gobs of motors.

But things have progressed, and even though it's an "entry level" class, it seems that a lot of people that run 2MO and 27l still show up with cars and compete.....

,you win, Mike, but why you hating on me? I asked a valid question, and I jokingly made comment about lower voltage for slower times. A friend who runs F at Frank's place told me they were running mid to low 3's, so I can only go by what he reported...

 see you at the Nats....

Trust me the track is flat. Lol. I've turned 3.8's already and trust me I will be getting faster. Jeff I'm guessing you couldn't break 4.5 if you tried tomorrow.

Either he confused 4's with 3's, or you confused 3's with 4's.

Regardless, if you raced on both tracks, I'm surprised you could think it would be possible to run similar times on both.

No hating on you.

I just didn't detect anything in your original comment, that indicated it was being made jokingly.

Maybe you need to add "LOL" to your repertoire. LOL
