We have one in the Chicago metro area, too. Ten years ago it was so popular you couldn't get in. It
was at a venue with a 3000 person limit, and at 10:30 a.m., an hour after the doors opened, there were
somewhere around 100 people standing in line waiting to get in. I went again four years ago and I walked
right in, with plenty of aisle space to walk around. I guess the petroliana fad has quieted down. There is a
guitar swap meet in the same venue that has been there for many years, and that until last year I have
always attended. It has always been jam-packed. Surprising because there aren't many clubs hiring bands
anymore. And certainly not as many garage bands as when I was growing up.
