Since everybody is up against a perceived time limit with the motor hand-outs, getting through tech the first time will help.
Being in line when the final call is announced is mandatory. There won't being any I just need a few more minutes.
The most seen problem recently in the ORS is the rear of the body being too high. The cut lines on the bodies do not guarantee a legal height. As Steve Koepp brought up in another post, the new Parma M7 has a cut line for a .790" tire, not the .812" used in the R4.
A usual R4 problem is the requirement for a grille on the coupes, F1, and any Can-Am not a Ti22.
Also on F1 if your body requires a windscreen make sure it isn't painted.
The only thing that won't get you sent to the back of the line is spoiler height; there will be scissors there to trim immediately. All other infractions will get you sent to the end of the line.
One thing to be aware of is at this time in the season if you are using the same car the front wheels do wear out; you may make clearance but the diameter is too small.
You don't want to hear the Tech Nazi say "No Tech For You"!
Eric, Mike, and myself will try to help as much as we can to answer all questions before the start of tech.
