Hope I have this in the right forum.  I am a vintage collector, never really had much experience with modern slot racing.  I recently got this chassis/motor in with some other stuff that I purchased locally.  I'll probably end up selling it to recover some of my investment, but I would like to know what it is and if its worth selling.  I am assuming it is 1980s or 1990s era.  Thanks!

Steve, the motor is a Mura C-can. Does the arm have a tag, such as Int. 15, Grp 20, or some such thing? I have no idea who made the chassis, but running an inboard spur gear was popular for awhile in Int.15. I doubt either item is worth big bucks or competitive with newer motors & chassis, but they might make for a nice running wing car.

Thank you for the information.  The armature is drill balanced and it does have a INT 15 tag on it.

Car is worth $20-30 if the motor runs.

The Mura is a late generation, usually nickel plated.  The blue color is a(?).  1980 - early 1990's  were two hole or four slots.  It may not date the frame.

Thank you all for the great info.  Tested it with a 9V battery and it did run but not real strong - a good cleaning & new brushes would probably help.

I did a Google image search and an ebay search, could not find another blue example of this motor, not sure if that means anything.

Anyone know anything about the chassis frame?

Looks like someone's attempt at a wire perimeter chassis. A bad attempt.  Leave  the chassis, take the motor.

Chassis looks like 90's junk. Value = zero.
