What lamination did you use?
Just one of the several RJR/Viper lams I get from Bill Bugenis David...a pretty generic design, and by no means a very "roomy" one by today's standards. Why do you ask?

Just curious. They look great!
Thanks. My problem is that I try just as hard with these as I do any other. These 6-layer coils on short stacks are probably more difficult than the big wire stuff in many (not all) ways, so it's sort of a perverse reality that such inexpensive motors get that sort of attention.

Have you ever tried to replicate the JK Hawk arm? The 58,000 rpm version. I find comparing the Chinese small com version vs. the ProSlot version to be comparable in terms of top end speed but have a different seeming power curve.
Well sure, many times. A couple of threads down from this one is this one I mean, I'm not trying to "replicate" any of these arms, but I do them with the same wind.

I'm not doing anything particularly special, just trying to do them neat and of course using a regular diameter com, which probably helps in itself.
