Can anybody ID these four cars that I won on eBay awhile back?

The only thing the seller told me was that it was from the west coast and he had them in storage for a very long time.

I can't say who built them but they are typical of the cars being built in the '71 to '73 or so era.

You mean record how's that possible with all the intricate work and the drop arm piano wire insertion.

Hard to tell from the picture, the top left looks like a PDL Diamond or a copy of one. Fronts look right, nobody else did his rear tube or lack of one like that.

Two rightmost are older style, two on the left mimicking PdL Diamond chassis.

Far right Art Tarver style but goofy to have motor heat sink around rear axle tube, second from right probably Lee Gilbert.

The 2 on the left are really generic. No idea. But the one on the far left looks too cluttered to be PdL.

Thanks for your thoughts, hopefully with the calaborative effect the slot car sleuths will get to the truth about these orphan cars then they can take their rightful place in history.

None of the chassis are REHco .  Those chassis were built by Matt Seeden by the way.  A gifted racer/builder from the Columbus,Ohio area.

They were built by a local racer somewhere who knew what he was doing  cutting, forming, and soldering metal. These were not "production" chassis by any means.

The two chassis on the right appear to have REHco "Jet Flag" guides because they were orange in color.

I'm with Jim, the one with the orange can is most likely a Gilbert, late '70 to early '71. The far right one has been modified from its original build, possibly a Billy Stuebe(?).

No signature visible, the photos show you what I can see.

I've had emote chassis and Ed sohl chassis from that Era back in 69,70 and even though Bob signed chassis the chassis he built for me he did not sign and he built it for me because Jim green away asked him to build it for me and Bob handed it to me.so I'm not sure if the pros of that time signed all there chassis, also a Tony chassis I had wasn't signed.

Pretty sure 2nd from right is a Lee Gilbert, have one almost identical. His engraving was very light.

No, I really meant Raceco. They made every conceivable style of chassis and sold a lot of them out here. I'm sure some of the others know more about them than I do. I have a few of their chassis in period-sorta-correct cars.

Every Retro East  race I've been to has been a Race of Champions. And they aren't just showing up. They are still winning and setting new records.
