hi howe manny of you are driving in g27 light class ??
is this a big thing in us or are you nott so manny witch drive in light class?

we drive to mostly for the kidds 8-15 years ,,but i think its fun, only down is that its a class that we use old stuff thats no body drive with
and allmost no body whants to put some big monny in engins ...
but i think its a werry good class ...you hawe mutch too learn of seting up the car right adj tires and make fine adj of the car
you learn much as a driver/meckanic if you start driving 27 light every thing must be corect setup to get the car running good

Hi yes its a good ting too drive box 12 and light at the same time...box 12 is fun..but it cant messure up with g27 light
thes cars handel allmost like a g7 car road handling is muck better then a box12 car and it runns a bit faster

at ohur races we allvays start with box12 class and then g27 light,G27 and omo/G7 cars ...
box 12 is a newbee class and 27 light too the other is a bit more for experianced drivers

good thing for you ...love to race g27 light.. fun part is that in lite we are so mix in age and manny drivers

mounted too gather my new LITE engin last week ...RL can with proslot 490 arm and singel mags
it ran ok lap times with oute adj anything was ruffly 2.3 sek
hope i can take it down to 2.2 with adj tire with and making some body adj...after next race the arm is going out and i will rebalance it and see if it runns harder...

i allso mounted my New RL G 27 6mag engine it ran 2.2 with oute adj so the diffrent is nott so big ..but it sounds go go harder and i think it do, it feels so..werry nice punch from engine

next projekt is too fix one or too deacent engins for my kidd...they must go min like 2.4 sek lap
to day he has one engine witch is good and 2 witch is nott so good must try to fix thes old 480...but i wonder if i can open upp thes too 490 it feels like more sense to do it and start working on hawing a good 490 insted of a good 480...think its easyer to find old good 490 arms than 480 they are a bit old...

27 lites are raced alote in the US .. alote of people who i talk to actually prefer it over normal 27 .. i like normal 27 racing but thats just me ... but it seems that most places that do have a wing series going have a 27 program that is being raced and it seems more peopel race 27L over 27 if there is the choice

27 Lite is becoming popular in Southern California too. I know of about 6 people that definitely have equipment and another 6-7 that are gearing up as we speak. Its a low cost fun class, plus its sprayglue :D

I personally like that it is spray glue .. as yes putting your own glue down is nice but when you get over to a lane that someone really gummed up on last heat to be a jerk is not fun to rag down .. it gets quite messy hehe .. i prefer spray glue anyday .. also like James said .. its fun and cheap class .. super fast 27 cars but no as expensive as all the high mag setups and all the other crazy stuff .. and for the racer who cant afford what another can its good as everyone is pretty equal
