So it didn't show a real slot car track, just a cartoon drawing? I think that is pretty easy to determine.

Somehow I got lucky and it was on my "On Demand".
Some of the highlights;
"Little tiny car guy? He's all yours."
"She's my Lane Monkey".
After doing some practice on a 2 lane oval at work, and a 2 lane Figure 8, on his bedroom floor, Stan boards a plane to go to Slot Con, the Slot Car World Championships, which is a hotel race, on a 5 lane, 11 turn, road course.
The night before the big race, he winds up in the hotel hot tub with his female Lane Monkey.
He does win the big race, right before his wife shows up, to take him back.
By the schedule out in the hallway, they must of had a big crew to break down the track.

I wasn't able to get the video that Nelson posted to play. I feel that it might be what they call 'Click Bait'.
Here's some screen captures from the episode- Season 14 Episode 08 (220) 'Whole Slotta Love'.
Note the current style slot box in screen capture 2. And the track layout in screen capture 3 which sort of resembles the 'Testarossa' at Slot Car Raceway California.
Someone has done some research!

It played once for me. I think it is a EU link.
Someone did their research for this episode. Along with what you mention there was another scene where a soldering iron and solder were appropriately represented and placed.

Nelson: Let's say I got a whole bunch of ad windows and no video play.
If you look at screen capture 3 (sorry for the lack of quality) in the lower right of the pic is a pit area with a towel covering the work area and what appears to be a Hakko soldering iron and control box.
