Is this for the Scale Nats or Wing Nats (or both)?
Would they run wing cars on the purple track?

It's the Div II Scale Nats, Mike. I should have made that clear. The 2017 Scale Nats are this weekend at Mid-America.
The Div I Wing Nats aren't until August, in Rohnert Park, CA.

We have people that run wing cars on the "Purple Angel", but there's not much wing racing in NorCal. Frank has some in Rohnert Park, and with the D1 Nats coming up there in August, there is a bit more wing racing going on.
Those that I have seen run them on the "Angel," it was something to see! Justin's run a few people's cars on it, and it's scary how fast they can get around a track that's not a "King" track.

I think running the Nats (winged or scale) on something other than a King is a great idea.

Looks like a great facility and a well-done video.

The "Purple Mile" Nats was one of the best Nats I ever attended. The "square" donut drove the King track purists crazy. I had lots of fun passing them through that section of track. YeeHaw!

I watched Swiss win that thing. I was racing RC at the time but hung around for the show.
