I'll try to pick up the race results from the USRA Div II racing this week at Mid-America from Facebook when I can find 'em. As I don't think Roger has the LapMaster set-up to push the results to the 'net, if any Slotbloggers are present, it would be very much appreciated if you could text me shots of the qualifying and results LapMaster screens. PM me for my phone number.

There are two 'pre-Nats' classes running today that are not part of the USRA Nats classes: 1/24 JRL and 1/24 Production, both on the flat track.

6) Dale Lipe - 5.784

7) Rick Dodge - 5.967

8) Geary Gaspord - 6.030

9) Kevin Wisniewski - 6.528

10) Larry Kelley - 6.681

1/24 JRL race results:

Much appreciated. A shame there's not more info because some technical specs would be amazing. The USRA Div II Nats are on my racing bucket list.

David,

Not yet.

I have to depend on others to furnish me the info to post and so far, no reports.

It's a shame that the organizers and organization don't acknowledge the importance of promptly reporting race results so as to recognize the racers who have expended time, money, and significant effort to excel, but that's been the norm in 1/24 slot racing in the US for a long time.

Any thought given to explaining what any of these classes are? It would be interesting to some of us what they might be racing. Also, it goes without saying that I never frequent Favlcebook so that's little help.

Thanks for the insider knowledge!

Mark,

You should refer to the USRA rulebook.

Production must be referring to 4-1/2" stock cars. JRL looks to be any open wheel flexi with Contender motors.

Production is a 4" stamped chassis, with a C-can, with a Contender or Super Wasp arm, and a GT1 body.

It was run on one of the flat tracks, as an exhibition class.

People in the past have donated their time and efforts to just this task without a whole lot of appreciation. At some point a person quits bashing their head against a brick wall.

The two pre-Nats classes are actually ISRA classes, as defined HERE.

Ok, thanks! Sorta confusing. I will be the first to admit I have participated in no ISRA or USRA anything so this is all new to me.

Greg,

Not really.

There isn't any JRL rules in the link you provided. It's more of an ISRA-USA class.

I'm not sure if they ran A Production or B Production.

The rules in your link described Production, or what we call A Production.

B Production is the class I described. It's the more popular one locally, run as a regular race in our local GL ISRA series, that is run at M/A and C/R.
