Members of the Kingdom of Thingies... I introduce my BZ Repro Banshee to the World!

I was not able to secure the BZ Bad to the Bone Banshee on eBay for prices were and remain prohibitive, so from the ground up I put together a beautiful reproduction. There are NO actual BZ parts on this car. The chassis is from Professor Motor and is a reproduction. The body is a reproduction from Victor Ferguson at TrueScale. The FT36D is a Classic orange and the gears are Weldun for the spur and Classic Industries for the pinion. The wheels are Mila Miglia and the tires are Classic.

Of course Master craftsman Jairus Watson trimmed and painted this masterpiece.

It makes for a compelling classic RTR!

I was going to ask you where you found the decals but when you mentioned Jairus was the painter, that answered my question  :)

It's as good as an original :)

Repro chassis or not, the Banshee body by Victor is amazing.

Awesome Thingie!

Looks HOT!  Wheels remind me of the ones I am using on my Cyclone.

Nicely done!  May not be an original, but it's a darn good replica!

It hasn't officially closed Lucio, but is not operating and hasn't been for a year or more.

Yeah, I believe that Victor took time away from the business to stop and smell the flowers. After his Dad passed he is now on hiatus and is spending time with his family.

I wish I knew how he was doing as my emails have bounced back for some time.

FYI

It may be possible to get a very good replica clear body of the Banshee while Truescale is on hiatus.

I am not aware of Gene's World having this available. If so Gene let the members here know. More thingies the better...!!!

McLeod Western Booth have one in their on-line catalog! I have bought bodies from Scott McLeod (I believe) and those clear bodies were excellent and met my highest quality standards. They were nice and thick PETG.

May cost twice as much as you want but worth it if you want to repair or reproduce a nice Banshee RTR Slot Car.

Have you actually bought anything from them lately????  I thought they were pretty much done for? (Never got a response out of them when trying to buy bodies awhile back.  :/ )

Yeah that's tough but thought it was at least worth mentioning.

I did buy some bodies a few years back.

Send them email and wait....!

Yup,I did that and also left voice mail messages. As I remember it ,I was pretty much told to "F off " ....but the sight still stays up. :)  Some members on here have commented about them saying they would never purchase anything ever again from them anyway????  Cannot confirm the facts, just repeating what I have read on here.  -_-

BTW,thanks for the direction you gave to me yesterday. That is going to work out for my needs.   :clapping:

I try to help as others here have helped me in the past.

I will keep an eye out for that Banshee body for you.
