Fellas,

Many years ago I built a Ferrari Squalo  GP car in 1/24 scale with a clear body with a Dynamic chassis. I had to use precut numbers for the car as I couldn't find anything else to use. I traded it away and have regretted it for decades.

Would someone happen to have a clear FERRARI Squalo that I could Purchase so that I may rebuild one ?

Hi Pete,

Sorry I don't have one of these.  I know the feeling of getting rid of the good stuff....

I am looking for a Dynamic rear motor mount for a can-drive 16D motor, put one together last night out of some parts I found.  Gets really hot...at 5V it draws almost 3 amps.

Mike,

I'm looking for the same Dynamic part myself, I'm beginning to think that most of those pieces have been  sitting under completed vintage cars for decades...

While I hate to "modify" certain vintage parts, I'm not above it ! :victory: :victory: :victory:

Hi Pete,

LOL!  It looks like Electric Dreams has the endbell-drive version, but one of them that I got was for pittcan.

Got a 36D endbell-drive mount one that I put together today, getting some rims to finish it off.  EJ's that I have are too short.  Havlicek motor I had built few years back is the power plant.

Gonna be for the 1/32 Ford J you've seen.

Found a Cox guide flag but one of the screw holes was cracked right down the side, luckily I remembered I had found another one stashed away.  Had champion white lead wires and super soft braid from professor motor and some screws I had in an old tire tube.

I'll try to get a pic up - my computer is dead so I'm working off Mamma's.

Pete,

Thanks for the info, I'm aware of the availability of the Squalo at Patto's, however I was in search of the old Pactra version in hopes of creating the car from all old parts. I presently have a Pattos' "wish list " that includes the Squalo as well as several decal sheets for other oldies I have planned.

Maybe the Pattos "Squalo" is a copy of the  Pactra version ?

Probably, because I don't know anybody else who made a Squalo vac-form in 1/24. In fact, I didn't even know that Pactra made one!

The Technical journal lists two 1/24 Squalo bodies, by Auto Hobbies and Shark. Never seen either one!

Don,

I  traded it away over 30 yrs. ago, so it may very well have been a SHARK or AUTO HOBBIES body.
