True that! You have yourself some fun up north. The "Zoo". Very true.

Sorry for the hi-jack SCRRA. Back to regular scheduled programming.

Jason, Try a little farther north to Twin Lakes & Virginia Lakes. Man I'm jealous. I love the Sierra's. Have a great time. Good to know some racers are fisherman.

........Meanwhile, back at BPR :laugh2: .... Bill Vanderziel ran a perfect race today with no offs to a decisive victory in F1!  Sam Rackham and Dale Yamashita battled it out for 2nd and 3rd with Sam taking the nod at the end.  Can Am was a real barnburner with Duran Trujillo and Sam Rackham running neck and neck the entire race and Duran just feet ahead at the finish! Great race!  Bryan Warmack came home 3rd after a race long battle with Mill Conroy.

Full race report with pics up shortly........

Bryan, Thanks for all your hard work putting SCRRA  on the track. I would like to thank all for there help, just to name a few ( Sam, Dale, Tim, Dennis,Bill ) with my questions and help with my 4.5 retro motors. But that will be another forum for motor break-ins. I really have a great time at these races. I will keep my other passion fishing posts out of this forum too. Thanks again to all involved.

I haven't seen Nestor's name mentioned for awhile. Did he hang his controller up for a period? He has other hobbies.

Bill,

Nesta, who drives up from the San Diego area, raced last month in the Pete Zimmerman Festival of Speed races.  He will usually show for the big races with a nicely designed artwork poster in hand.

Diana,

It will be Saturday June 10th.  SCRRA schedules it's flat track races the 2nd Saturday of each month and the King track on the 4th Saturday of each month.  The only exceptions are the four big races.  The next big race scheduled is the Summer Western Classic scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 21,22, and 23.

I'll be missing the next flat track race in June. I'll be in Idaho for a while. You folks have a good one. Cheers.

The streams are currently running about like Niagra Falls and my fave hiking trails are still under about 6 feet of snow so I may try to make the next flatster race in June. I hope to bring a better driver along next time out as I clearly had the wrong guy on the controller last time.........

Jim,

Your driving, I believe, was fine. Just one of those days. That front axle, well, opps. Bet you'll be just fine in June.

I can tell if my driver is doing well if I can hold short conversations while racing.  If I'm too quiet,  I'm too nervous :shok:
