Interesting piece.

 

One thing that struck me was that at the end of the event the track is folded up for storage.   I've seen something similar to this in club/rec center racing in videos from England. That may be the future of routed track slot racing.  It responds to its greatest weakness which is a large foot print of an eight lane track in a retail environment. It goes without saying that they are not high banked super speedway King tracks and others of that type, but if it comes down to a smaller folding flat track or no place to race I think I would opt for the first.

The blogs reflect what I've been trying to explain to everyone.

So build clubs and get you community involved and we'll see a healthier community (unlike the disassociate antisocial world that being created by 2dimensional screens).
