Did the Hustler always have wheel inserts? And if so, which ones?

The answer is yes. It had inserts replicating a Lola T70 wheel, not used on any other Russkit kit or RTR.

Here is one of the beasts from the LASCM museum, still sealed in its box:

Thank you, Philippe. I was sure you had the answer.

Any news about the book?

Book has been written and completed several years ago. Photography has been the problem and still is, in the fact that over 1,000 pictures shot in RAW format need to be cropped, enhanced, modified, etc. to be suitable for printing.

And I simply had too many other more important things to do in the past few years to really have the necessary time. It looks like I will be a bit more free this summer, so I believe I can get it done if life does not come across my way too much.

There's an old French saying, Philippe: When life comes a cropper, crop the darned photos and get your book finished!

(loosely translated from "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité")

:laugh2:
There is an old saying in Czechoslovakia: "When all is lost, please send chocolates."

I am working on the damned thing, but as soon as I am done, I don't want to ever see a slot car again in my life!  :dash2:

Philippe, I am available to help you regarding the processing of the photos. As an architect, I have digitally photographed many buildings, details, and objects, and processed them in ViewNX and Lightroom for publication and presentation.

Bill, thanks for the offer, but it is a lot more complicated as each picture needs attention due to its position inside the book, and I am afraid that I am the one needing to address the matter.
