Reposting this track for sale from a Corvallis, OR, craigslist ad:

"The track is an eight-lane "flat track." It's about 45 feet from end to end, and close to 20 feet wide. Lap length is about 110 feet. We have reason to believe it was built in 1992, but we don't know who built it originally. The only marking on the underside of the track says "M.O. '92". It's in working condition, and is very sturdy. It breaks down into 13 sections and has 40+ adjustable and removable legs.

Along with the track, we're including operational electronics, specifically the TrackMate timing system with Sell Time module, Bulldog RDC-90 power supply, computer, and TV.

The computer is a minimal set-up running Windows XP. We don't know the exact specs for this computer at this time.

We are asking $2,500 for the whole setup. We also have a fleet of rental cars and controllers we can sell at additional cost."

If you are interested in buying this track, which is IMO being offered at a very good price, you will need to contact the seller via the carigslist AD. The owner never seems to have registered at Slotblog, even though his raceway has been shown in the Slotblog Raceway List since 2012.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Nice track, but the craigslist ad doesn't have the owner's contact information.

Good catch, Bill! As someone who has never personally used craigslist, I missed that entirely.

The hobby shop is:

ASA Hobbies
1193 Santiam Rd SE
Albany, OR 97321
(541) 926-5075

and their website is HERE.

So let me revise my advice to state that if you are interested in this track, give the hobby shop at a call or an email using the address shown on their website; posting questions here will do no good.

In the upper left corner of craigslist ads is a button labeled "Reply." Clicking it drops down a list of options for contacting the poster.

Didn't Monte Ohren build a few tracks out there on the left coast? Think this might be one?

Monty did build a few tracks and I am convinced this is one of them.

Thanks for the craigslist correction. As I said, I've never once used it.

He loved to use yellow as the trim color. Most of the time he would use a plaque with his initials and year so I think it's one of his.

In my slow times I get a kick out of writing ads for junk I or my friends have laying around.

I recently sold my neighbor's ultra-ugly '98 Honda CRV for $350. There wasn't a single piece of straight sheet metal on it. Motor and tranny were good, though a little smoky when started, brakes locked up, windows didn't open, had to pull the drivers door up to get it latched...

Dude who bought it was pleased as punch to find it. He was just going to use it as a track car for fun with his buddies on the weekend.

Neighbor was going to pay to have it towed to the junkyard.
