In the new book "The Secrets Of My Life" (I was looking through it at local library) by Caitlyn Jenner you'll see pic of Bruce at age 15 sitting on hood of his Dad's car, a white 1960 Austin Healy Bugeye Sprite... turning a few pages later you'll see Caitlyn (in 2017) sitting on the hood of her recently-purchased (restored) Bugeye Sprite. I had one of these years ago... still like it more than my current '91 Mazda Miata...

I had two. One while in college and one after the kids came and we needed two cars.

Wish I could still fit in one 'cause it would be in my driveway right now!

I had one as well. Kind of like the Model A... taking a long trip in it is a bit tedious.

But around town on a fall or spring evening, what a fun car!

I never owned one, but built a few H-Prod versions for fellow racers. For my very first sports car, I checked out

the Bugeye (the Brits call them frog eyes), a Spitfire, an 850 Spyder and an MG-B. I settled on the Triumph. For

evening drives I found my E-type to be my favorite, and my 100/4 to be second because it was so archaic. For

longer drives the Alfa Spyder was great, as long as it didn't quit on me.
