Here's a car I acquired via an eBay auction that included a bunch of other stuff.
Just looking for info on the chassis mostly, although info on the little strap motor would also be welcome.
What does anyone know or see?

It looks like a Camen strap motor.
The chassis is so cut up, it's hard to say the origin.
But probably a Slick 7 or Camen.

Camen "P" chassis from around '89-92 or so. It was made into an early 1/24th eurosport type chassis.
I can't tell much about the motor from that one pix.

Have you try running it? Is there a number on the stacks?
I have a body that will fit.

When CASRA started in the Northeast, some of the 1/24 eurosports used Grp. 27 arms & strap cans the first year.

Thanks guys. I don't have the car yet. It's in transit.
Should be interesting to see what's going on up top.

Got the car today. Pretty sure Tom is right. It has all the signs of a Wing car with the light weight lead wire soldered flush at the guide. Center spine is hinged. Arm is a Camen 31-27.
Motor will get freshened up , some recycled retro tires mounted, throw a high downforce body on it and see if I can knock the walls off Doug's King.

I am confident in your ability to knock the walls down in any class of car as well as to set a new altitude record when launching over the bank

Are those two rusty pieces of piano wire shown in the photo above just there stuck on the front magnet? Is there anyone in NY who can zap cobalt mags for you?

Those were two .050" Allan wrenches.
I am pretty sure someone at PJ Raceway has a supper duper magnet zapper. I will NOT be calling Ken-NO.

I will be replacing the gear since Doug does not allow metal spurs. Any recommendations on a ratio? I have zero 'sperence with cobalt motors.
