Hello folks!

 

It's been quite a long time...

 

Here is a genuine Tamiya chassis (altough not of the good type, the drop-arm should be different) and a recent re-issued Tamiya body.

 

With a genuine body kit of the mid sixties in the back of one of the pictures.

There are many modifications, to make it closer to the genuine car.

 

The separation lines of the doors have been modified, little air vents were added on the sides, an additional embossment was also sculpted in plastic and glued at the bottom rear. I also drilled a hole for the little side lights. And added a part for exhausts.

 

Because the white parts for the rear lights were far from perfect I decided to turn them in an aluminium rod (with a lathe).

 

The cap on the front bonnet is also turned in an aluminium rod + half a roundel made from a wire and pliers.

 

And of course I once again painted a trompe-l'oeil for the interior.
