While searching for the X-Acto slot car ad today, I came upon these two tracks built by the above company.

Full page ad, the design reminds me of a Kingleman:

This was a 1/6 page ad. This one reminds me of a mini (if you can call 170 feet "mini") reverse AMCR Sovereign:

It appears the company built at least two tracks. Did they build any more? Does anybody remember racing on one of these, or ANY R&J track?

I thought that address was familiar, as I used to live in Fairfield NJ in the mid-'70s. O'Dowd's Raceway used to be right down the street in Pine Brook, NJ, and they had about a half-dozen tracks. I don't know who built them, but given the location I would not be surprised if they were made by this company. I remember one had a monster bank that my crappy cars could not make it around LOL.
"Whatever..."

Mid-Island Hobby in Hicksville, Long Island - basement of the Agway - had R&J tracks. Their big track was the 170' one, the second picture. There were five tracks altogether down there. A figure 8, a Windsor copy, a variant of a black with a longer deadman, and something like an orange with a longer bridge/lead-on.

You rented by the hour and they gave you this softball-sized thing that went over a post next to the controller hookup, so the manager could see if you really paid for time or were just shorting out the terminal with a tool (which we did alot of!).

Thanks for the info, gentlemen. I was hoping some of you East coasters would know something.
