August's D3 Hardbody races had a good turnout of racers despite the absence of several regulars. A new racer, Chris Sukimoto had his first ever D3 hardbody race. We welcome Chris to D3 Hardbody Racing at Buena Park Raceway.
We had 16 racers entered for the "mixed" race and decided to have two mixed races. The first mixed race had GTPs and Mid-Engine cars. Phil Nyland won with Eddie Shorer 2nd and Kevin Tabuchi 3rd.
The second mixed race had 3 C's, WRC, Porsche 911/934 and Foreign Prod. Sports cars entered. A field of 9 entries saw Keith Tanaka win with Jim Lane second and Tim Herrera 3rd.
The final race of the day was for GTPs with 9 entries. Two podiums for this race. The regular race podium had Phil Nyland winning with Jay Henry just ahead of Victor Dubrowsky who was 3rd.
The Racer Handicap podium had Kevin Tabuchi first, Carlos Peniche 2nd and Phil Nyland 3rd.

The next D3 Hardbody races on Sunday, Sept. 17th at BPR. Track opens at 10 am, mixed race at noon followed by the GTP/NASCAR race.
