Seems like unpainted wing car bodies are hard to get. For flexi wings we were using O/S Corvette and then some Hi-Speed Mustangs after O/S disappeared. But now Eagle doesn't offer the Mustang unpainted.

For Group F I have been using whatever was available from Eagle which has been slim pickings.

Others at our local track have been purchasing both painted and unpainted bodies online which is sad.

What bodies are people currently using.

At MMW the main body of choice is the Corvette, you can get them direct from Hershman, the other body that has had some success is the Koford Peugeot. This is for Group F.

The Mustang is still available clear.

I have not had an order of clears from Eagle in some time now. I will give Greg a call on monday and get that going for you.

I have some here and with Eagles permission i can drop ship on Monday. How many would you need?

Bill:

Appreciate the drop ship offer but I am just a racer so I will have my track order some from Eagle on his next order.

I love the crisp quality of the Mustang plus the side masks make my job easier. It will be nice to use them again.

Thanks,

Mark

The Koford Peugeot looks like a good alternative for our Group F. Looks like it might be similar to the aero of the Vypor? I will give them a try for group F and use the HiSpeed Mustang for my flexis.

Do Koford's clear bodies come with masks?

I only buy from my local track so the Outisight bodies are not an alternative for me.

Thanks,

Mrk

Koford does come with a mask. I think it has more downforce than a Viper, all depends on what type track you run on. Chassis length has lot to do with it also.

If your local track uses ERI as a distributor as well as Eagle, they have a wide variety of available wing bodies including the Hi-Speed Mustang, plus an assortment of bodies by Camen, Koford, and Red Fox. Given its popularity in Group F at the USRA Nats, you may want to consider the Red Fox "Fox Tail".

I will check out the Fox Tail on the Eagle site.  Our local track Raytown International Raceway (RIR) does not use ERI.  IIRC they had a bad experience years ago and never went back.  Don't think they ever buy from Crawley either.  (My last name is Crowley but for some reason I don't think we are related.)

2nd from the left is a Fox Tail. The oddball "windshield" is the tell-tale for that particular body.
