The Flat track is back on the schedule this Saturday with the usual SCRRA routine.  F1 tech inspection and racing begins at 10AM followed by lunch and Can Am which usually gets started at around 2PM.  See you there!  :good:

I hear that the fee to turn on the A/C is $30....at least that was the amount that was rumored to have been charged to one of the newer racers on Thursday night.....

So much DRAMA for such small cars....

I'd rather sweat a little at the local raceway trying to turn a profit than hang out at an air conditioned mall with no racetracks.

I know of SEVERAL racers that have stopped coming as a result of their poor interest in helping their customers remain comfortable.  Once winter comes, perhaps they'll come back.  See you for F-1 at least.    And it's not just the comfort level, when the track gets HOT--the surface also gets slimy with poor grip--that affects the racing too!   But with my heart condition, heat is not something I can deal well with. It is what it is!

In the SCRRA Flat track action today, F1 had Jason Holmes in the winners circle with Dale Yamashita a close 2nd and Bryan Warmack 3rd.  In Can Am, Dale came out on top in a great race with Mill Conroy 2nd and Bryan again 3rd.

Full report with pics up shortly and to all the people in the path of hurricane Irma, thoughts and prayers from all the racers at BPR.....

It was, to say the least, an interesting F-1 race yesterday. How Dale nursed that car of his to 2nd was something. Mill and Jason's car were HOOKED! Track conditions were back and forth, but were fine it seemed later in the race. Weird race.

The deal with the heat was bearable for the F-1 race, but some mushy  track conditions .  The track came in later in the afternoon for the CanAm race.

Small round robins are a lot of fun!

Ah... nice to be back in low -mid 70's further up the coast..

 Hi Jason,

Free shipping is at $75 to match the resellers but I'd be happy to supply BPR too.
