Impressive. Looks like it is in 1/43rd scale. His level of skill is equal to some of the guys doing model railroading

steam locomotives. Which is interesting since most car modelers scoff at how assinine they are about detail.

This looks like an advanced kit of some sort? Who sells it and how much does it cost?

Right. He is using techniques used by model railroaders, which makes me wonder if he might be in that

hobby as well. When building a model steam locomotive in brass to enter into a model contest, the more

scratchbuilt parts you use, the higher you will score. Even though those parts may be available as lost

wax castings. And the judges check that the parts are dimensionally accurate to the original prints.
