Here is a shot of the raceway (green building) after Hurricane Irma. No official word yet from Reggie on any damage to the track and the inside...

I was there in 2009, met Reggie, and raced a bit on the old track. This is terrible to see. I hope things work out OK for him.

Very sad, but more importantly I hope Reggie and his family are all OK. Plus hope his home is OK, too!

OMG!! We just walked the beachfront last month. It was a beautiful day. Can't believe the devastation.
Hope all is well with you, Reggie!

The equipment Reggie requested has been purchased and is on the way to St Maarten! Thank you to everyone that contributed. Reggie reports they still don't have power or water. The generator will sure go a long way to making things a bit easier. Thanks again. 😎

That is amazing - I did not expect to see it looking that good.

Looks great, but where will business come from in the immediate future. That looks to be a big issue for these storm damaged countries. No tourism.

Right now all we know is there was some damage to the main straight that should be easily repaired with a new section. The roof has been repaired and the deck is now back to normal. Not sure about anything else at this point. Reggie assures me he will have the annual Wing Race in October of 2018!

Thank you for keeping the racing community updated on Reggie's status.
Sending best wishes to him as he works toward the reopening of the raceway sometime in 2018.
