I hear that's a good show. I also hear that the Professor's track is not in use.

Hey Matt,

It's a small show, and the lighting isn't very good for a show (it is in a bar), but we keep working on that. Great burgers and drinks at Club Canton make up for the bad lighting, and there are slot cars there!

As for the track at Professor Motor / Lightning Speedway, it is an eight-lane Ogilvie with an 80-85 foot lap length. Just right for our vintage 1/24 cars to stretch their legs, but small enough so that 1/32 cars don't get lost.

Advertised hours are currently every other Friday and once a month for our vintage club, but I know for a fact that the track gets used randomly during the week for walk-in customers because I'm the one who has been turning it on for them, with the Professor's full approval! I sure wish people would know things, not just think they know things, there's a big difference...

Great, there was a rumor circulating that the track wasn't operational. I guess that was false information.

Those small shows sometimes bring out a hidden treasures!!
