I suppose my primary question would be how is the chassis misbehaving? Is it nosing out? Tipping? Sliding? Hopping?
This past weekend in the Ohio Challenge Cup the JK Aeolos went 1-2 in GTP over a slew of Mossettis so they're definitely a great chassis and mine was the 2nd place one.

I run the car on JK 8702PPW Wonder trued down to .760", running the standard J-bars and leaving the chassis rattling freely without tape. Oillite choice is Champion Flats straight-up. For guide, I run a JK Advanced cut-down guide with one .005" Teflon spacer. It has a moderate amount of pickup on the outside donut side but otherwise no issues with bottoming or heavy drag. Car wears an .007" Ralph Thorne Racing Warrior and is geared 11/37 on a PS4002FK as per OCC GTP rules.
Consistent 4.4 second laps even in traffic on a 165" Ogilvie Hillclimb with Esses.

The C43 JK chassis doesn't need to be "tricked" (if that's what you mean by "ticked") to work well.
As designed, it works fine.
As far as "wear up front" you'd need to elaborate. Racers all over the country are running this chassis and not one has "worn out".
Matter of fact, nobody to my knowledge has ever wore out any stamped steel chassis.
I recommend setting it up properly before thinking it needs improvements.

By "wear" I'm guessing he means the amount the front ears rub the track.

Flexy chassis do in fact "wear out" from Cyclic stresses, especially when used on faster banked tracks.

Dante, I don't know how long you've been racing flexi chassis, so I would just recommend that, first of all, you review Cheater's tome for building the old Turbo Flex. IMHO, it applies to any flexi.
He knows well of what he speaks.
As far as the C-43 is concerned, I've never had a chassis that was able to go as deeply into turns at high speeds without de-slotting. Taking a little time to ensure things are straight/perpendicular, ride height is adjusted properly, and your rear oilites are mounted squarely will go a long way toward making the chassis all that it can be.
The rest is up to driver skill. Best of luck!
