Does anyone know of a commercially produced/available 83mm tech tool?

R-Geo was just advertising one on Facebook a days ago.

"83mm width check, .750 and .800 tire check and .050 thick"

Koford sells an ISRA tech tool.

It looks like it has even more stuff on it than my Retro tech tool. LOL

I can confirm that the R-Geo tool worked great for the OCC season opener and many thanks to Rick for producing a nice straightforward tool.

Would solve the problem for width and clearance.

We haven't required a .750 minimum rear tire in a number of years.  I know that's a long-standing measurement in the hobby but I never understood why it mattered what size the tires are as long as the proper clearance is maintained.

Here in the Ohio Challenge Cup our GT1 category still maintains minimum and maximum tire diameter rules in order to minimize the use of tire size to fudge gear ratio in a spec ratio class.

Guys:

Thanks for the responses, a big help!

Mike:

One question though, does the Koford tool come with an owners manual? :shok:

No but it must be registered with the ATF. :)

I'm waiting for someone to make a tech tool that have the numbers itched on it.. Koford's and Swiss's are real nice but you need a secret decoder ring to figure out what is what.. For me anyway..
