What were some of the top clubs during the 60s besides MESAC?

I'll need to confirm the actual name but yes. I am specifically wanting names of the mid-west clubs that were active during the early 60s.

Glenwood Club was in downtown Lombard, IL.  Others in the midwest 'circuit' were in Rockford, Milwaukee, Kalamazoo, and Detroit.  Maybe others.

I raced at the Glenwood group in 1968 and 1969 after my Army stint.   Mike McWilliams, who wrote early 1960's articles had a small track in Aurora, IL that I got to run on, but was too young then to be invited to a race. I also recall a "1/32 invitational Race" in Berwyn, IL around 1968 or 1969 that I attended.

Richards' Hobby Shop  (Aurora, IL) had a railracing track from about 1957 until they closed.  The owner told me the track is in the basement of the land under the (now) parking lot.

Thanks Larry, do you remember any of the actual names of the clubs so I can continue my research?
