I have a motor I bought second-hand last year with that endbell and hoods. It had one of the narrow crown arms in with 49 winds. Didn't rev very well but huge torque.

Around what timeframe were these made? Trying to determine how old this motor I bought is. I estimated somewhere around 15 years?

More like ten years, I'd suggest.

Pretty sure Slotblog was up and running when I bought the Kamen kits, and it began in 2005.

 

Note that this is not the same as Camen.

That is a Kelly endbell. Kelly were taken over by Fox.

 

In case you don't know a Koford endbell is a direct replacement.

This info is not accurate, the the best of my knowledge.
 
Terry Kelly, who is local to me and a long-term friend, distributed Red Fox products under the Kelly Racing lablel in the US for a number of years. Red Fox is Gugu Bernardino in Brazil, whom I also know and who has personally confiirmed to me the info given above.

Kamen endbell with first hardware, as Nick posted. It is possible that another motor used the same brush hoods later, not sure. But I bought at least two of the Kamen motor kits when they first came out, and still have them somewhere, so I'm confident about that ID.

Looking at the first picture I believe you are right. 

Well, all those endbells are similar and could be used as replacements.
