I have been remiss in posting recent race results for which I apologize. First, Hurricane Irma blew through town, followed by a list of obligations, all of which served to keep me away from Slotblog.
Let's pick up with our inaugural Le Mans GT flexi series which got underway October 9. We had a good turnout and decided to run as individuals, in contrast to our usual team enduro format. We ran three minute heats on our Engelman.
Any 4" commercially-available flexi chassis combined with a Hawk 7 geared at 11/37, was the requirement. Legal bodies are American or European Le Mans GT-style bodies, examples of which are Caddy CTS, Corvette, Aston Martin, Jaguar, ...through Saleen S7 & Maserati MC12. In other words, no prototype bodies permitted.

For our October 16 Le Mans GT race, we voted to eliminate the 11/37 gear ratio requirement and let drivers decide which 64-pitch gears best suited their race strategies. We resumed our team race format (odd-man running solo) and ran 5-minute heats on our Blue King.
