This is the 37K, PS4001 motor, with a special purple seal on it, that was created for the beginner-oriented Hobbystock class in the Mid-American Hardbody Series.
 
If anyone is looking for a slower motor than a 4002FK or Retro Hawk, and needs a seal, this is your guy.

Maybe perfect.

Not too fast, and a ton of brakes, which you can always dial out.

Yes, that would probably be a decent comparison.

 

Possibly a bit slower, but I really haven't run a Mini-Brute in awhile.
