When I was going to buy a box for my drag cars the builder asked me for how many cars? He suggested 20 which would give me 2 large drawers for parts and controllers. I thought this was overkill and that I would never have 20 cars. Ummm I don't have a count but since we plan a move to a smaller place some may have to go. Try to figure out which memories you are comfortable selling; remembering the friends, now on the other side of the country and the ones no longer with us.

I've seen lightweight drag boxes that have huge lexan sides and fit 20 cars.  A shadowbox can fit on the wall at 3.5 inches deep?  I love the hudy you helped me with Mike...hope you're doing good.

Google maps says it is about 90 minutes to the closest drag track. Driving by myself, not that much fun. It was better when Foamy was grumbling next to me on the way to Buena Park.

Moved again and now a drag track is less than an hour away and has a decent road track.https://www.facebook...nalinespeedway/

The strip is a 1/8 mile which I have never raced on so it will be a slightly new game for me. I would prefer a 1/4 mile strip but I would also prefer to win the lottery but fail to buy tickets.

You have probably figured this out, but your 1/4 mile gearing will work just fine on a 1/8 mile track. American Adrenaline has an active drag program, & there are also a couple of other tracks near by... also it would be a little bit of a drive for you, but the finest 1/4 mile track in the Southeast is in Troutman NC. Hope to see you soon!
