Gene's innovative thread introducing the Tonneau Cuc Repair Mod reminded me of many crazy Cuc' over the years!
I have cataloged many including some of my own from years past that I will share here daily with the Kingdom of Thingies World.

Most all of these are someone's not mine, so if you see yours here chime in or just join the fun and let's make the Thingies section active again!!!

Today's entry is probably typical of modified Crazy Cucs!

This one has cut out font and rear fenders and a hole to enable the tall guide weight.

Okay, so no body is participating yet...come on folks!

This Crazy Cuc belongs to Edo the Kingee of Thingies, long absent from this forum and his many thingie subjects!

A well turned out Crazy Cuc that even includes a fire extinguisher!

I'm participating by :drinks: :popcorm1:

I like the #7. If one is going to butcher and slam a Cuc, that's a real cool example of doing it right IMO.

The Flag weight looks like the air cleaner on a Late Model Dirt racer :good:

I love Edo's baby blue also :dance3:

IIRC, the late Larry Shepard built Edo's light blue Cuc.

My thought is that it has to be a body based on the Cuc's! Many have different chassis underneath.

Great car Pablo! Thanks for participating here in this thread.

Next up....a Cuc with what looks like Graham Hill driving. Seriously though, a nicely presented Cuc!

This crazy Cuc must be alien in origin as that engine compartment looks ominous. Nice little roll bar too.

Some of these bodies are made from the original "Tupperware" material.  How do you get paint to stick to them or are they just for show?

The black one was 'scuffed' with 320 then 400 IIRC.

The paint was for plastic automotive trim with a flex agent, winter coat nice and thick.  Seemed OK.

I didn't hit the wall or ... keep my leftovers in it...

Not sure what the next guy is doing with it :laugh2:
