I own a pawn shop. The vast majority of what we get get in is TVs, tools, jewelry (usually dated and ugly), etc. Its a very un-glamorous business. But every once in a while something cool will come in. We just got this in, which I will be keeping. :)

You mean you don't get people coming in with hot air balloons, Russian Migs, memorabilia signed by rock stars and Presidents, Civil War weapons, a first edition Bible signed by all seven Apostles or unused tickets to the Beatles Shea Stadium concert? :unknw:   :laugh2:

Sam, you've obviously figured out that Pawn Stars is staged. Who would go to a pawn shop to sell a rare, valuable item? Anyone in their right mind wouldn't even think of a pawn shop, much less go to one.

Sam, you're missing a few apostles. Did your Bible come from a pawn shop too? :laugh2:

Phil. that Tonka Toy set looks very interesting. As kids, my brother had a pickup & I a dump truck, using the same red cab body style as you show. I'm guessing we got them in the mid-50's.

Sorry Bill, my Bible never mentioned any apostles. And I don't get Bibles from pawn shops, I steal them from motels. OH crap....I am going to Hell, aren't I? :diablo:

Those are great looking trucks, definitely an earlier generation than the ones I had, late 50s, early 60s....

Ever get any slot cars? (I'm sure that's been asked before here)

A TV show staged? Say it ain't so, Joe....
