I just returned from Europe and had the chance to see two amazing racing films on the flights.

One a moving story of Sir Frank Williams, the history of Williams Racing, his crippling accident, and his daughter taking over the team.

The other about Irish driver Tommy Byrnes, who many believe was equal to or better than Senna but whose rough persona kept him from ever getting a top ride in F1. Check out the trailers...

Rotten Tomatoes gave the Tommy Byrne film a rare 100%!

I was one of the many who didn't realize that Tommy Byrne raced F1. I did see him finish second in the Indy Lights race at The Meadowlands in 1986.

I also had him as an instructor for a one-day driving course at Mid-Ohio in 1998.
