Many of you know Vince from retro racing at past R4s. He is an extreme fan of everything motorsports and all around a great guy.

Unfortunately he recently received very disturbing news from his doctors. They found late stage, very aggressive bladder cancer. He had surgery today to help determine treatment with another exploratory surgery scheduled very soon.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers along with the others in our slot racing family who are fighting this horrible disease.

So sorry to hear this. Vince is a great guy and is always popping up in memories of past racing fun.

Hoping and praying for his quick and complete recovery.

Very concerning news indeed. I have never met a bigger fan of slot racing than Vince. 


He and his family are certainly in my thoughts.

Thank you all for your prayers. It has been a tough almost two months since the diagnosis and unless the chemo stops or slows its growth only time will tell. I have decided since I'm not working (was only a year away from full retirement and having the most productive year of my professional career) I have decided to do the one thing that I truly enjoyed  my entire life and that's slot car racing. So I'm retooling my work bench and rearranging the space for building toy cars.Nothing like building slot cars in December isn't that what winter time is for.
