Over the years I have been asked as to where a person may aquire one of these sprint cars. Well right here is your chance, custom hand built one at a time. The cars can be set up to either run on dirt or asphalt.
This is not a toy! but a full fledged radio control, nitro powered, inline drive racing machine that can be raced at the famed Moody Automotive Raceway, which hosts the U.S. Nationals each and every year,or at most R/C sites across the country.

this is how the car would come as a whole, color choice is whatever color rustoleum would sell of your choice. OR powder coated color of choice.
this one is a grey primer.

I have a couple of the 1/8th sprint cars. One is a tube car like this one made by Terry Camfield out of Illinois, it's a much older car with larger tubing and the other car is a Moody All American Sprint Car, with lots of modifications. It's an Aluminum pan chassis style car. Both are very realistic in appearance. I'll dig them out and post some pictures if you like?
Rex makes a very nice sprint car, and YES one has been added to my wish list of cars to own! Rex used to make a lot of slot car parts for Parma and other companies. I believe he even made spur gears for Losi R/C cars. Years ago while visiting his shop, I seen the aluminum heat sinks that go on a parma resisitor controller by the thousands. So, I'm pretty sure we have all had some of his parts in slot cars.
The nitro Fuel has been and always will be more expensive then normal gas, It's about $13.00 a quart!

However, it reminds me of a sprints plus slot car kit.

Here is a web site I'm working on for Rex (Bob Rexrode) to promote his 1/8th R/C Sprint Car.
REXSPRINTER
Rex is attending the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire. Next week and he will be show casing this car in a booth while attending the super bowl of indoor midget sprints.
Chili Bowl
Let's wish him luck, as we know nobody puts so much time and effort into these cars then Bob Rexrode.
