CUCARACHA TECHNICAL REGULATION
Cox Cucaracha 1/24 models will be divided into two categories:
A- Group N (series machines)
B- Prototypes (elaborated machines)
Common rules for both categories
1- 80 mm maximum roadway
2- mm 08 minimum floor height under rear axle and engine
3- compulsory sponge tires of any color. No mou use on the tires. It is prohibited . We grant you that the track will be properly treated
4- 1/8 threaded or smooth axles
5- 48 pitch form crowns. Modern crowns (such as slot.it, NSR, JK etc.) are prohibited.
6- Machine bodyworks can be cut as it was in the 1960’s.
7- The engine housing and the head must be of the same type as the original mounted on the model, i.e. 16D or 26D. Inductors can be rewrapped and balanced, bearings are admitted, while banned carbon bins and cobalt magnets are prohibited.
8- You can only add fixed weights to the top of the frame only and they must not protrude from it.
9- Frame. Adhesive tape can be used to fasten the original trim of the model.
10 - The audits will be carried out by the Technical Commission made of three participants. The T. C. will decide which category the submitted template will be inserted in.
Specific rules Group N
6.1 - Original plastic bodywork fixed to the frame with the original couplings. The bodywork can be cut and without accessories (glass, roll bar, etc.).
9.1 - Original chassis without lightening. It is forbidden to create joints and plays not provided by the original. Every stiffness obtained with the addition of screwed, glued or welded metal material will be prohibited.
Prototypes: specific rules
6.2 - Lexan or acetate bodies freely fixed to the chassis are allowed
9.2 - The chassis can be cut, modified with additional knots, reinforced.
ANGLEWINDER TECHNICAL REGULATION
Unique category with standard series frames up to 1972. See separate list.
1- 80 mm maximum roadway

3- Mandatory sponge tires of any color. No mou use on the tires: it is prohibited. The track will be properly treated
4- 1/8 or 3 mm axles, threaded or straight
5- 48-pitch crown form.
6- Bodyworks reproducing Can Am machines or Prototypes that ran until 1972.
7- Motors must be fastened with screws and not welded. Engines which are allowed: 16D, 26D and 36D. Inductors can be rewrapped and balanced, bearings are admitted, banned carbon bins and cobalt magnets instead are prohibited.
8- You can only add fixed weights to the top of the frame; you cannot let they protrude from it.
9- Frame. Adhesive tape can be used to fasten the original trim of the model.
10- The audits will be carried out by the Technical Commission made of three participants.
A competitor who does not fully comply with the rules may compete but he will have a 10 laps penalty or he will take part but out of any competition
SPORTS REGULATION
There will be three races. The first is reserved to A / W models and will take place on Saturday, while the races of the Mini Can Am (race 2017) and finally the Cuca race will be held on Sunday. Only one category Cuca (Group N or Prototypes) is allowed.
Entry fee: €15,00 for one race, € 20,00 for two races. Can Am is valid for 2017 entries
Entries must be submitted by 2 pm on Saturday, March 10th 2018
The races will take place from 4:30 pm on Saturday with the A / W category. The other two races (Can-Am and Cuca) are scheduled on Sunday.
Batteries will be formed at the discretion of the direction.
Temporary suspension of the race (PONTE) may be required only in the event of lane change and unrecoverable model (s) (under the bridge or on the ground)
Prizes for the top 5 ranked in each category.
